  1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Veribuild, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

  1. Platform Overview

Veribuild provides tools to:

  • Manage construction projects
  • Connect clients and contractors
  • Create agreements and milestones
  • Facilitate (but not always directly provide) payments

Important: Veribuild is not a construction company and does not perform building work.

  1. User Roles

Clients

  • Commission and manage projects

Contractors

  • Offer services and complete work

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.

  1. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Veribuild:

  • Does not guarantee contractor performance
  • Is not responsible for project outcomes
  • Does not supervise or control work
  1. Contracts Between Users

Any agreement formed via Veribuild:

  • Is between client and contractor
  • Veribuild is not a party to such contracts
  1. Payments & Escrow Disclaimer

Veribuild may:

  • Facilitate milestone payments
  • Integrate payment providers
  • Provide escrow-like workflows

However:

  • Veribuild is not a bank or financial institution
  • Funds may be held by third-party regulated providers
  • Payment services may be subject to separate terms
  1. Fees

Veribuild may charge:

  • Flat project fees (e.g. £50 onboarding)
  • Transaction fees
  • Subscription fees (future)

All fees will be clearly disclosed before payment.

  1. Verification & Compliance

Contractors may be subject to:

  • Identity checks (KYC)
  • Business verification
  • Risk profiling

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that fail checks.

  1. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Attempt fraud or payment abuse
  • Interfere with platform security
  1. Disputes

Between Users:

  • Parties should resolve disputes directly
  • Veribuild may provide tools or support but is not obligated to mediate legally

Platform Intervention:

We may:

  • Freeze project activity
  • Restrict accounts during investigation
  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Veribuild is not liable for:
    • Construction defects
    • Contractor performance
    • Financial loss from disputes

Liability is limited to:

  • Fees paid to Veribuild in the preceding 12 months
  1. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts if:

  • Terms are breached
  • Fraud or risk is identified
  • Regulatory requirements demand it
  1. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, and technology remain the property of Veribuild Ltd.

  1. Data Protection

Use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

  1. Regulatory Position (Critical Clause)

Veribuild may:

  • Operate in partnership with FCA-regulated entities
  • Transition regulatory status over time (e.g. PISP/EMI)

Nothing in these Terms constitutes:

  • Financial advice
  • Regulated custody (unless explicitly stated)
  1. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
